INDUSTRY INSTITUTE PARTNERSHIP: Centre Of Excellence

 

  • PMKVY:
    GCOERC is successfully conducting training courses under the scheme of Pradhna Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yajan (PMKVY) for technical Institute for Lathe, Welding, Survey, Draftman etc.
  • Mechatronics Lab:
    Guru Gobind Singh Foundation developed the centre of excellence under Industry Institute Partnership in association with SIMENS Ltd. and BOSCH.
    The objective of COE is to bridge the gap between Industry and Academic with advanced training module for students.
  • Atal Tinkering Laboratory:
    ATAL Tinkering Laboratory is established under the government ATAL Innovation Mission (AIM) the Government of the India has set up the ATAL Innovation machine (AIME) at NITI Aayog . Tinkering Lab consists of 80 + tools like DIY kits ,3D printer, Robotics, and various scientific mechanical ,electrical equipments.
  • CNC Lab :
    Well-equipped CNC Machine Shop to make the students industry ready by all means. all machines available are as per industry slandered.
  • SAT-COM Laboratory:
    SAT-COM Laboratory –Satellite communication utilization has become wide spread toady. Most of us are in touch by satellite communication in more ways than we realize. SAT-COM is establish to enable students to enhance their knowledge ,understanding and practical experience in those aspects of satellite communication.
  • BOSCH and Siemen’s Labs:
    Guru Gobind Singh Foundation has taken an initiative in the direction of development, to enhance the skill of students as a part of “Institute Industry Partnership Excellence Centre” presented by SIEMENS Ltd. and BOSCH. The motto behind this Skill Development centre is to bridge the gap between industry and academic sector with advanced training module for students in SIEMENS Ltd. and BOSCH Training Centre.

With this initiative GGSF made the MOU with BOSCH & SIEMENS respectively to fulfil the following objectives:

  1. Prepare students for industry oriented learning through tailor made training programs.
  2. Knowledge sharing on Bosch and Siemens advanced automotive systems.
  3. Advanced training modules for students in Bosch and Siemens Training Centres.

Module topic Surveying
Topi-Micro Optic Theodolite

A Theodolite works by combining optical plummets (or plumb bobs), a spirit (bubble level), and graduated circles to find vertical and horizontal angles in surveying. An optical plummet ensures the theodolite is placed as close to exactly vertical above the survey point. The internal spirit level makes sure the device is level to to the horizon. The graduated circles, one vertical and one horizontal, allow the user to actually survey for angles.

To introduce students with knowledge on Air Conditioning Basics, Fundamentals of Automotive Air Conditioning Maintenance and Air Conditioning Split Systems. The course explains how theory is applied within the industry, gives complementary preparation to practical training, and offers an insight into the industry's best practice.

To introduce students with Mechatronics, which is also called mechatronics engineering, a multidisciplinary branch of engineering that focuses on the engineering of both electrical and mechanical systems, and also includes a combination of robotics, electronics, computer, telecommunications, systems, control, and product engineering.

To introduce students with a basic understanding of AC and DC motor and drive concepts and terminology. At the completion of this course, students gained the necessary fundamental knowledge and skills required to attend other Rockwell Automation AC and DC drives courses.

To introduce students with various Low Voltage Switchgear devices manufactured by the esteemed automation industry, Siemens. The students were trained about the technologies, techniques and industrial methods of electrical engineering field currently being used in Electric power system protection.

To introduce students with the concept of computer numeric controlled Machine. The students were trained
about the technologies, techniques and programming methods of mechanical engineering field currently being used in manufacturing processes.

To enable students to use computers for internet services, electronic documentation, data analysis and slide presentation. In simple terms, data entry deals with entering or updating data into a computer system. Data is usually entered using a keyboard, optical scanner or data recorder. Since most Offices use computer systems these days, data entry has become an integral part of day-to-day office tasks. A data entry course trains students in the following aspects: Computer Operation, Software and Hardware, Typing and Internet Technology.
